Three (Tri): The Underdog in 4G LTE

The Idea: after I didn’t write like a millions years, here we are. Right now, I will not only talk about movie but everything that I have been through. Now, I will talk about Three (Tri) and their performance in 4G.

Well Three is the youngest operator in Indonesia. Face it, they’re young and yes they have a very limited connection for 4G. But is it really worth it to put Three sim card to your phone and go surfing with their 4G?

That’s why I write this article for you guys. At this time, I will use Three Sim card in my BlackBerry Passport. I already test the connection like 4 days, and remember I used the phone also for work and yes pleasure. I also used it in every location in central Jakarta, west Jakarta, and south Jakarta. I did this because the customer service told me that Jakarta mostly got the signal for 4G, but for Puri Indah and around there, sorry it’s out the service. But I will update You later about the signal in north also east Jakarta. Just wait

So here’s my recaps:

Positive:
1. Face it, it’s cheap and they offered the customers the big volume data for me.
2. The customer service was great. I brought my Sim card in 3 Store at Plaza Semanggi, and I really happy because they are nice and treat the customer very well. Even they shake hands at the first place. It’s unusual but very polite.
3. They have Bima Tri to remind you about everything, from the credits until volume data. It’s like your personal assistant.
4. They offered a lot of Internet package. My personal favorite is kuota++ kenyang download, because yes again it’s cheap and they offered a big volume data from 00.00-06.00. Because if you used the regular kuota, you still can use kuota++ kenyang download. It will automatically change.
5. So far in my area, the connection is okay. I got 4G but don’t always full but it’s work.
6. Because I used BlackBerry, so I have a push email and guess what! It’s super fast like telkomsel when I got the email. I tested it by my self, it’s only take 5 seconds to receive the email that I sent from my laptop.

Negative:
1. If I locked in 4G, totally the signal is raped my battery life. I need to changers like two times. When I used telkomsel and 4G, I never met with this issue. So I know you will say to me why I don’t use 3G. Simple, because when I used it sometimes some websites didn’t open. But for youtube I don’t have any problem with that.
2. The issue is still the signal, because it’s unstable so when I open my BlackBerry world it can’t work. I tried like 10 times and only work for 2 times, it’s very frustrating me. It happened to me when I sent the email specially when I have file in the file. It’s like take 3 minutes. Well at least it’s still send anyway.

The conclusion: So far it’s very worth it. I love my new operator. Three give me the reason to believe that the Internet connection is not always expensive. Well I must say, yes it’s not the fastest connection but also not slow. Yes it’s cheap but not cheaper. It’s killing your battery life but face it, it’s cheap and you want everything is perfect, well just dream on.

We’re Crazy About:

  1. We love the opening credits, it’s brilliant. So agent!
  2. The music, costume, editing, also the setting are lovely. So perfect with the movie.
  3. All the cast are outstanding like always, they gave the best for this. We love Jude Law and Statham. They are unpredictable. Very good to know that Melissa share the spotlight with the others, it was fantastic.
  4. The comedy is safe and yes funny.

We’re Confuse About:

  1. Yes the comedy is funny, but we must say that we miss “Melissa sarcasm”.

The Whole Point: Yes, It was crazy, hilarious, amazing,stupid, idiot, and yes entertaining. So please go for the tickets!

Mad Max Fury Road : Full of Action

The Idea: An apocalyptic story set in the furthest reaches of our planet, in a stark desert landscape where humanity is broken, and almost everyone is crazed fighting for the necessities of life. Within this world exist two rebels on the run who just might be able to restore order. There’s Max, a man of action and a man of few words, who seeks peace of mind following the loss of his wife and child in the aftermath of the chaos. And Furiosa, a woman of action and a woman who believes her path to survival may be achieved if she can make it across the desert back to her childhood homeland.

We’re Crazy About:

  1. The opening. It was fantastic, thrill, and awesome.
  2. The actions. We have no words how to rush and adrenaline.
  3. All the costume, effect, and make up are two thumbs up.
  4. They put a big stars in this movie. We love all the actors/actress who support this movie. Let say Hardy was good for the action, Theron, yes she nailed it for the performance, and others are totally hilarious. They supports this two name with a brilliant way.
  5. We love the angle, music,editing, also the setting of the place. They put a big effort for this.

We’re Confuse About:

  1. Well they have no story, but we don’t care!

The Whole Point: This movie was fantastic with it’s own way. They gave a big performance in action, music, angle, and all of the details. We have no words to describe this movie. Forget the story, you will find a good performance and action in here. So why you need a good story to see all the crazy actions. This movie is totally recommended.

Monsters Dark Continent : Breathtaking Drama

The Idea: Ten years on from the events of Monsters, and the ‘Infected Zones’ have now spread worldwide. In the Middle East a new insurgency has begun. At the same time there has also been a proliferation of Monsters in that region. The Army decide to draft in more numbers to help deal with this insurgency.

We Crazy About:

  1. We love all the settings and all the special effect.
  2. We love the concept of the story. It’s brilliant, even though is not original at all. But it’s wild and thrill!
  3. All the actors/actress, they played so well and lovely.
  4. All the make up and custom are two thumbs up.
  5. We love all the drama, it was real and breathtaking.

We’re Confuse About:

  1. Because the drama is a Lil bit heavy, so yes, perhaps it will be boring you for a while.

The Whole Point: We must say, it was a fantastic movie because they bring a lot of aspects of humanity until military things in this movie. And Tom Green is very, very hot. He made a good movie and very worth it to watch it on the big screen. Who’s know that Tom Green can make a very outstanding movie like this?

Restaurant Review: Three Buns

Well, I found a good hotspot in Senopati, SouthJakarta for hangout, it’s called Three Buns. And yes, they still part of PTT Family, so no wonder why this place looks so attractive and awesome. Plus, theyhave a lot of amazing food and drinks. Well, lucky me, I got a friend who works there. So I start to ask him a few questions about this place.

  1. Why name it “Three Buns”?

We named the restaurant ‘Three Buns’ as we serve three main types of buns for our burgers. Wholemeal bun, demi brioche bun, and white choco bun.

  1. Why choose a “bulldog” as a logo for Three Buns?

‘Wilfred the bulldog’ was the idea of one of our directors, he had a few Bulldogs as pets, and the design department set about creating a memorable, lovable Dog head design. We feel that he represents our spirit of fun and irreverence.

  1. What’s the concept of this restaurant?

We wanted to create an organic community space open to all and serving a menu of gourmet burgers and cocktails and accompaniments of a quality and design as yet unseen in Indonesia.

  1. What’s the interior theme of this restaurant?

The design of Three Buns adheres to PTT Family’s ethos of creating spaces that are innovative and in tune with their surroundings, as well as the unpretentious and communal feel the philosophy of the restaurant demands. Designed to be as open and welcoming as possible the restaurant has an open kitchen and tiered wooden communal seating with an abundance of plants and light throughout, a respite from the hustle and bustle of the city.

  1. Why choose the location in Senopati? Any specific reason for that.

Senopati has an extremely vibrant restaurant scene of course, but mainly the space we found was perfect for our vision of the restaurant – it just felt right.

  1. What’s the selling point of this restaurant?

The selection of gourmet burgers and the rest of Adam’s main menu and classic sides demonstrate his talent, love of high quality meat and sauces and years of research perfecting the perfect burger. In addition, unlike many restaurants in Jakarta, nearly everything we serve is homemade, from the sauces to the pickles to the mix of the meat used in our burgers.

  1. Three Buns choose to use a main material from wood to decorate the whole place, why? And what kind of wood do you use for the material?

We use spruce for the seating area and the wooden posts are made of southern yellow pine. In addition to this material serving our purpose of creating an oasis in the city well – we also felt that the wood gives an atmosphere of informality and fun, something we feel is very important for Three Buns.

  1. Let’s talk about the cashier area. You used the old car in this area. Where’s the idea come from?

The vintage re-conditioned Camper Van is situated within the space and serves as the order station for customers, a playful feature sure to remind patrons of the Group’s reputation for inventive and original architecture and interiors.

  1. I saw a two pictures upside the bar wall. Can you explain about this pictures meaning or the idea of the picture?

Representing the soul and character of Three Buns. The two characters on the wall are of an old butcher & the butcher’s dog, which has been said, appears to resemble of chef Adam.

  1. For me the center of the attention “Three Buns” is the bar area. Why you bring the bar into the restaurant?

To complement the gourmet burgers, you need great drinks and cocktails. The drinks list at Three Buns has been created by world-renowned mixologist Dre Masso, and reflects the restaurant’s philosophy of simplicity, innovation and quality. House-made natural sodas, craft bottled cocktails as well as frozen coladas, premium spirits and a short wine list.

  1. Do you have any special event like once in a month?

We have our monthly LET’S GET CRAFTY artisanal cocktail and burger events as well as BBQ Weekends. Coming soon we’ll be hosting a ‘Burger festival’.

  1. Can you tell me more about the menu in “Three Buns”?

We use the finest Australian Brahman beef and a bespoke artisan bun. The burgers are priced from IDR75,000 and cooked precisely to medium unless otherwise re- quested. We often have new burgers appearing on the menu – in fact a whole new brunch menu will soon be available – it includes our take on the Peanut and Jelly Sandwich – in this case an ice cream burger.

  1. Do you have any tagline?

As Adam himself says, “I LOVE THE JUICINESS OF A FLAVOURSOME, WEIGHTY BURGER, YOU DON’T WANT TO PUT IT DOWN AND YOU MUST NEVER EVER CUT IT!”

Testament of Youth: Bittersweet

The Idea: During World War I, a young English woman named Vera Brittain, postpones her studies at Oxford University to serve as a Voluntary Aid Detachment nurse in London and abroad. After the war she returns to Oxford to read history and later becomes a writer, feminist and pacifist.

We’re Crazy About:

  1. The story is dramatic, but not cheesy at all. Perhaps it’s too feminist, but it’s fun. You will see how strong Vera, even she looks like so weak.
  2. The character of the movie is lovely and details. They gave a space for all of the cast and they also play well.
  3. They have a strong message and the value of the movie can describe well.
  4. Well, we love the poster.

We’re Confuse About:

  1. Because the story is kinda slow, sometimes for some people it will be boring also the point of view of this movie perhaps a little feminism.

The Whole Point: Yes, perhaps it’s like another biography movie story. But something different about this movie. It’s sparkling, sweet, and bitter. We love it.
